The Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis has two campus locations; Glendale, AZ and Indianapolis, IN. Each campus is a state-of-the-art facility connected to a fully functioning donor center which allows for the direct observation and application of practices performed in a real-world environment.

The Academy offers a practical approach to learning in various disciplines including quality, medicine, operations, leadership and professional development. Courses are administered by experienced professors from Grifols companies, third-party experts, and guest lecturers from the industry or academia. Training program standards are designed to allow participants to achieve consistent, high levels of proficiency. Customized professional coursework, seminars, and intellectually challenging group discussions promote innovation and educational concepts.

Training activities are developed in several phases, starting with continuing education programs for new employees. All programs are continually reviewed by the Academy Board and updated to remain current with the latest industry standards, enabling us to maintain the highest quality standards within the organization.

The core courses for management, quality, operations, training and medical areas are offered in linear sequence advancing in knowledge and are presented in three-day intense modules. The Academy offers specific seminars and classes such as Introduction to Statistics and some courses are offered in two to three day segments, varying in length depending on the program content.

To potentially fulfill general education and elective requirements for undergraduate programs, the Academy has entered into an articulation agreement with the University of Phoenix for approved educational programs allowing advancement of traditional college career paths. In addition, the Grifols Academy has partnered with Southern New Hampshire University to offer Associate and Bachelor degrees to Grifols employees. The Grifols Academy also grants continuing education credit to Grifols employees attending Academy classes, as allowed through the accreditation statuses from ACCET and the State of California Board of Registered Nurses.

The campus is also open to host meetings, seminars, presentations, and conferences by Grifols' companies and others in the industry.
